What you can do

Never buy products made from endangered species and if you think you have been offered an endangered species product, or seen one for sale, please report it. You can do this by sending information via the Report It button on the Operation Charm website or you can telephone the Metropolitan Police Wildlife Crime Unit on 020 7230 8898 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.

If you are unsure whteher something may be illegal don't take the risk - if in doubt, don't buy it! You may be breaking the law and helping to push more species towards extinction.

You can also help us to spread the word by taking action now. Public awareness is important and the more people that know about the illegal trade in London, the more difficult it is for the illegal traders to continue. Most people know that the endangered species trade is in Asia and Africa but it is important that they know that it is here too.
